Field of application

Dying of wool and blends with wool

 

Properties

  • protects the fibers from damages caused by action of acids and temperature
  • preserves the fiber strength
  • avoids any flocculation’s due to its action as protective colloid
  • has a buffering effect and regulates the pH-value in strong acid dye bathes
  • protects from brittleness when dyeing wool with chromium dyestuff
  • reduces the tendency of wool to felt and shrink and preserves the fiber character
  • causes a faster and more even attachment of the dyestuffs to the fiber therefore the amount of acid, salt and time of dyeing can be reduced

       

      Application

      Ebotex W conc. is used at normal or high temperatures. Dilution of Ebotex W conc. with the 6-fold quantity of water is recommended.

      According to the kind of textiles, the pH-value of the dyebath and the kind of dyestuff the dosage is:

      On the weight of goods

      0.5 % - 1.5 %

      Remark

      Ebotex W conc. is a technical product and variations in colour and viscosity can happen. The properties for application are not touched by this.

      Storage temperature

      Storage at temperatures between 5 °C and 40 °C.

      Shelf life

      Up to 12 months in the original sealed packing.

      Stir before use.
