Dilution

combinations with other fatliquors have to be stirred thoroughly before dilution, dilution method: 1 : 3 with water of 50 °C – 60 °C

Field of application

Multipurpose fatliquor for all types of soft leathers and shoe upper. Licrol 0598 is a lecithin emulsion which has excellent affinity with the leather fibres.

  • very good lubricant for the mechanical operations
  • unique warm handle and soft touch
  • good softness but also grain tightness
  • good heat resistance
  • good dyeability

       

      Application

      Licrol 0598 emulsions have even but low penetration power. Therefore Licrol 0598 should be used along with sulphited fatliquors. It can be blended with Licrol SB 114, Licrol SB 124 and Licrol PE for the shoe upper crusts. Licrol 0598 is an universal fatliquor for the whole variety of crusts.

      Remark

      Licrol 0598 is a technical emulsion and variations in colour and viscosity can happen. The properties for application are not touched by this.

      Storage temperature

      Storage at temperatures between 5 °C and 40 °C.

      Shelf life

      Up to 6 months in the original sealed packing.
